Roof Coating
One aspect of protection is the roof. Roof tiles are continuously attacked by the elements and become porous with age and as a result create the ideal conditions to promote the growth of moss and lichens.
Roof coatings are a monolithic, fully adhered, fluid applied roofing membrane. It has elastic properties that allows it to stretch and return to their original shape without damage. This means a roof coating actually becomes the top layer of a composite roof membrane and underlying system. As such, the roof coating is the topmost layer of protection for the membrane, receiving the impact of sunlight (both infrared and ultraviolet (UV), rain, hail and physical damage. We use Andura’s Roofgard on all roofing projects. Roofgard has changed the face of roofs all over the world.
Independent tests were carried out by the Paint Research Association (PRA). They show that Roofgard is exceptionally durable and will perform well, with good colour stability for more than 10 years. Andura’s Roofgard Plus Roof Coatings are the only roof tile coatings available with Insodec Clean Nano Technology Cenospheres.
“One call to John and I was happy to give Roofgard a go. I’m delighted with the work done. I thought I might need a new roof but it now looks as good as new.”
